Test Analyst III
Job Description and Requirements:

* 5 years of technical experience in DoD and USAF OT&E; test design, analysis, and test support in evaluating new and existing space systems in a realistic
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistical Analysis, or Business OR 6 additional years of experience may be substituted
Preferred Qualifications:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word,PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).- Understanding of ITW/AA systems to include: Combatant Commanders Integrated Command and Control systems- Understanding of Design of Experiments fundamentals and able to apply DOE principles to test planning and post-test data analysis methods.- Understand how to evaluate common system effectiveness and suitability factors including reliability, maintainability, and availability.- Possess working knowledge Air Force Space Command and test and evaluation directives.- Possess a broad understanding of statics to include: standard metrics, data distributions, data sampling techniques, confidence intervals and regression test techniques.- Able to use data reduction tools to analyze raw data and identify signification system deficiencies.
* Provide test support through development of documentation including; Test Plan, Data Management and Analysis Plan, Test Execution Procedures, Test Reports, Detailed Analysis Reports, and
operator surveys.- Develop test scope using a hierarchical design consisting of Critical Operational Issues (COIs), Objectives, Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) / Measures of Suitability (MOSs), and Measures of
Performance (MOPs).- Develop test approach with the intent of performing statistical analysis to evaluate system performance. Test approach may include scenario injection, simulations, real-world system
operations, external sensors, and users.- Execute test of mission systems to assess performance.- Direct data collection activities and verify all test objectives are completed.- Evaluate data and assess system performance using validated truth data and tools developed during test planning.- Conduct detailed statistical analysis on the operational data using software tools to characterize data and identify trends.- Collect and analyze maintenance data to determine system reliability, availability, and maintainability in support of the evaluation of suitability requirements.- Build surveys to be provided to system operators and maintainers to evaluate acceptability of human factors, documentation, training safety, and other areas as applicable.- Write technical documents to accurately describe system problems, analysis techniques, and support measure ratings.- Support the development and coordination of test reporting documents and test report briefings; present the evaluation results to the 17 TS for review; and ensure all documents and briefings
comply with AFI and AFSPCI 99-103 direction.- Assist other Test Analysts by reviewing and providing comment to test briefings and documentation.- Additional duties as assigned.
